This policy explains what information No Stress Books ("we", "us") collects through getnostressbooks.com and our Facebook and Instagram sign-up forms, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Information you give us: your name, business name, phone number, email address, the type of business you run, your county, and anything else you type into one of our forms or tell us when we talk.
- Information from our ads: if you fill out one of our Facebook or Instagram sign-up forms, Meta passes us the answers you submit on that form.
- Website activity: our website host keeps standard server logs, such as pages visited, device and browser type, and IP address, to keep the site running and secure.
If you become a bookkeeping client, the financial records you share with us are handled under your client agreement, not this website policy.
How we use it
- To schedule and hold the free business review you asked for, and to prepare your price.
- To contact you by phone, text or email about your request and about our bookkeeping services.
- To measure and improve our advertising and our website.
- To keep records of our business conversations and to meet legal obligations.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number and agree to be contacted, we may text you about your request and our services. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as they need it to do that work:
- our website host, which stores the forms you submit on our site,
- our email and scheduling providers,
- Meta, when you use one of our Facebook or Instagram sign-up forms.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we are in contact or working together, and for a reasonable period afterward for our business records, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Your choices
- Opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, or ask us to stop emailing you.
- Ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing michele@getnostressbooks.com.
- Control ad tracking through your browser settings and your Facebook ad preferences.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
